Swig Miller is a self-taught artist, designer and builder based in Grass Valley, California, according to his current website. His practice ranges from monumental sculpture to hand-built spaces, working with wood, steel, stone and earth. Akle’ the Dragon is identified on his site as a Burning Man 2015 project; the organizer described a white concrete dragon almost 50 feet long. Tower of Ascension is credited to Miller and Friends in 2016, with a 40-foot steel tower and fire-breathing dragons. Later archive entries include the seated Open Hearted Meditator, The Phoenix and The Butterfly, The Giver and Tree of Love. Archive dimensions describe those event entries rather than independently verified current structures.

Taylor Dean Harrison develops sculpture and installations using light, movement, color and the viewer’s position. His practice combines mathematical systems, parametric design and industrial fabrication with the physical effects of illuminated surfaces and shadows. Enunciation, dated 2016 in his portfolio, combines stainless steel, acrylic and thousands of LEDs that participants can control with buttons; the project credits Henry Richardson, Ryan Orban and a larger crew. Penumbra, dated 2017, comprises five flower-pod forms in steel and light and credits Henry Richardson. Syzygy, dated 2019, arranges six sculptures whose motorized light patterns move into and out of alignment, using steel, custom LED engines and dichroic glass. Harrison credits Henry Richardson and Hayden Harrison for that build. These dated portfolio projects establish a collaborative large-installation practice without implying current touring inventory.

Teri Bevelacqua works across collage, painting and interactive installation. Her South Puget Sound Community College exhibition statement describes a practice of layering, adding and subtracting images, color and texture, drawing on both landscape and everyday experience. Burning Man’s archives document that approach at a larger scale: From There to Here & Here to There uses ten encaustic mixed-media panels in a roadside-sign format, and Door to Somewhere combines translucent paintings with a doorway and seating. The Dreamy Derelict Dory is credited to Bevelacqua in collaboration with Karen Boulton and Chess St. Clair; its archived design describes a painted rowboat, illuminated details and places to sit. The event entries name Olympia, Washington, as her source location at those dates; her current operating base remains unconfirmed.

The Emergence Project is an artist-and-builder collective documented in Burning Man’s official installation archive. The 2022 entry credits Jesse Lightcap and the group for Emergence, a dragonfly environment described with a structural-steel frame, recycled-material plants, lighting and shaded gathering space. The team’s campaign presents the dragonfly as a symbol of transformation and remembrance. Its 2025 archive entry credits the collective for Love Tram, describing a detailed wooden tram designed around connection and creative expression. The accompanying group campaign proposed a gondola-like setting with a participatory sound booth. These sources establish the collective independently of any one lead artist. They document event-year projects and design intentions; the profile does not verify current object locations, completed technical features, nonprofit tax status or availability for placement.

Explore sculptures that physically move: visitor-activated mechanisms, changing forms and wind-driven installations. Compare documented projects, understand how motion shapes the encounter, and identify the site and maintenance questions to resolve with an artist.
Find installations that make listening, musical participation or sound-responsive light part of a place. Compare playable works and spatial compositions, then plan how the experience will share space with visitors, neighbors and everyday activity.
