For artists, studios and representatives
For artists: profile updates
Your work deserves an accurate record. Tell us what needs correcting, add context and point us to the sources that support it.
How to request an update
- Open your artist profile and choose Request an update to this profile. That link carries the profile address into the existing review form.
- Identify the text or artwork you want reviewed, explain the correction and link to public supporting sources. For artwork details, name the exact work and version.
- Review the form’s consent and delivery status before submitting. The form checks whether this site can receive requests; if delivery is unavailable, it cannot submit.
Requests require review before the directory changes. We may need more evidence or clarification. Do not send passwords, identity documents, private access links or confidential ownership details.
What the directory shows
Artist profiles are independent research, with linked sources and checked dates. Those dates describe source review, not confirmation that every detail remains current. Documented artworks may describe past installations.
Submitting an update does not add a verified-identity or ownership badge. Availability remains unconfirmed unless it has been separately established; a past installation is not proof that a work can be placed again.
Statements from artists
A statement from an artist, studio, estate or representative is evidence offered for review. Tell us your relationship to the work, what you can confirm and the date and limits of the statement. It is not automatically an independently verified fact.
For an availability statement, identify the exact work or version and your authority to discuss it. Submission does not create an offer, reservation or agreement with Big Art Partners.
What inclusion means
A directory listing does not mean Big Art Partners represents or endorses an artist. A review request does not create representation, change search position or authorize a sale. Participation and project terms need a separate conversation.
Read about the directory for the limits of the research and its sources.
Corrections and permissions
Use the existing form for a correction, removal request or information about a media credit or permission. Include the page address and public source links so the reviewer can identify the material.
A link to a photograph does not grant rights to use it. A permission statement is reviewed separately for authority, exact media and permitted uses; sending one does not approve an image for publication or sharing.
The form explains what information is stored and asks for consent before submission. Receiving a request is not accepting its claims or approving an edit.
