Taylor Dean Harrison ↗

Taylor Dean Harrison develops sculpture and installations using light, movement, color and the viewer’s position. His practice combines mathematical systems, parametric design and industrial fabrication with the physical effects of illuminated surfaces and shadows. Enunciation, dated 2016 in his portfolio, combines stainless steel, acrylic and thousands of LEDs that participants can control with buttons; the project credits Henry Richardson, Ryan Orban and a larger crew. Penumbra, dated 2017, comprises five flower-pod forms in steel and light and credits Henry Richardson. Syzygy, dated 2019, arranges six sculptures whose motorized light patterns move into and out of alignment, using steel, custom LED engines and dichroic glass. Harrison credits Henry Richardson and Hayden Harrison for that build. These dated portfolio projects establish a collaborative large-installation practice without implying current touring inventory.

Teri Bevelacqua ↗

Teri Bevelacqua works across collage, painting and interactive installation. Her South Puget Sound Community College exhibition statement describes a practice of layering, adding and subtracting images, color and texture, drawing on both landscape and everyday experience. Burning Man’s archives document that approach at a larger scale: From There to Here & Here to There uses ten encaustic mixed-media panels in a roadside-sign format, and Door to Somewhere combines translucent paintings with a doorway and seating. The Dreamy Derelict Dory is credited to Bevelacqua in collaboration with Karen Boulton and Chess St. Clair; its archived design describes a painted rowboat, illuminated details and places to sit. The event entries name Olympia, Washington, as her source location at those dates; her current operating base remains unconfirmed.

The Emergence Project ↗

The Emergence Project is an artist-and-builder collective documented in Burning Man’s official installation archive. The 2022 entry credits Jesse Lightcap and the group for Emergence, a dragonfly environment described with a structural-steel frame, recycled-material plants, lighting and shaded gathering space. The team’s campaign presents the dragonfly as a symbol of transformation and remembrance. Its 2025 archive entry credits the collective for Love Tram, describing a detailed wooden tram designed around connection and creative expression. The accompanying group campaign proposed a gondola-like setting with a participatory sound booth. These sources establish the collective independently of any one lead artist. They document event-year projects and design intentions; the profile does not verify current object locations, completed technical features, nonprofit tax status or availability for placement.

Valerie Mallory ↗

Valerie Mallory makes large mixed-media installations that often bring human figures into shared symbolic spaces. Her artist biography traces work for Burning Man from 2004 and lists later open-playa projects. Womantree, created with illustrator and concept designer Mikell Haynes, first appeared there in 2014 according to the dedicated project account. Cast bodies and faces combine into a tree form concerned with women’s lives and relationships across generations. The Bridge and the Cage followed in 2017, again with Haynes credited in the event archive. The Womantree site also describes an enlarged 2024 anniversary version, but retains both forward-looking and retrospective language. The original presentation and later version are therefore kept distinct, without assuming identical dimensions, physical continuity or a confirmed current location.

Victor Quiñonez ↗

Brooklyn, New York, United States

Victor Quiñonez, known as Marka27, is a Brooklyn-based street artist whose work spans murals, paintings, and design. He describes his approach as Neo Indigenous, drawing on Mexican art and heritage alongside graffiti and contemporary culture. Boston commissioned Souledad (2022) for Washington Manor through its Transformative Public Art Program. The project involved the Boston Housing Authority, Youth Lead the Change, and meetings with residents; its imagery draws on the South End’s cultural gatherings. His Back to the Essence, Brooklyn mural was part of Murals for the Movement, curated by Liza Quiñonez of Street Theory Gallery. That project celebrates the African diaspora and Afrofuturism through figures, patterned textiles, and tropical imagery. Marka27 and Liza also operate Street Theory Gallery.

Victor Spinelli ↗

Ibiza, Spain

Victor Spinelli is an Ibiza-based artist whose practice moves between photography, painting, ceramics and sculpture. His Diver UP project began as a photograph made in Ibiza in 2005 and subsequently developed through bronze, wood and fiberglass versions. The project account distinguishes a wooden version burned at Burning Man in 2019 from the much larger sculpture built there in 2022. Spinelli’s exhibition history also records Wheel of Consciousness at Burning Man in 2023 and Life is a Puzzle in 2024. These projects give a U.S. context to an internationally based practice. The artist’s pages use both 24 feet and eight metres for the 2022 Diver UP; those measurements are not treated as an exact conversion. References to Area 15 describe the artist’s reported history, without confirming a present public display.
