Documented artwork / kinetic light sculpture installation

UNION #2

Ralfonso

Credit as documented: Ralfonso

UNION #2 gathers six tall winged elements in Lake Eola Park. Ralfonso's installation responds to small changes in the wind, making its moving arrangement different from one encounter to the next. The City of Orlando connects that unpredictability to the effect of forces that cannot themselves be seen. The work combines movement in daylight with a programmed lighting system after dark, placing the sculpture within the city's wider visual program.
