Documented artwork / reflective terrace sculpture and canopy

Paradise Parados

Teresita Fernández

Credit as documented: Teresita Fernández; design and fabrication with Camber Studio

Teresita Fernández created Paradise Parados for the terrace at BAM Strong, connected to Brooklyn's Harvey Theater. Mirror-polished stainless steel reflects changing light, neighboring trees, people and city activity. Its wandering forms recall ivy on Brooklyn brick walls, while their arrangement around a lounge entrance suggests a theater curtain and proscenium. BAM describes the work as a permanent, site-specific sculpture within its Robert W. Wilson Public Art Initiative.
