Documented artwork / bronze abstract sculpture

Mixed Feelings

Tony Cragg

Credit as documented: Tony Cragg

Tony Cragg's Mixed Feelings takes the form of two bronze masses twisting together and apart. Sculpture Milwaukee describes their motion as an expression of natural energy, with face-like profiles emerging as a viewer circles the work. Its record dates the sculpture to 2010 and associates it with the organization's 2017 exhibition. The same record documents a 2018 gift from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation to the City of Milwaukee and identifies the site at City Hall.
