Corridor of Light (Esplanade Bridge)

Cliff Garten Studio

Credit as documented: Cliff Garten Studio

Four illuminated sculptures mark the Esplanade Bridge in Rosslyn as the 2020 phase of Cliff Garten's broader Corridor of Light program. Inner and outer forms remain transparent by day; after dark, coordinated color sequences pass through individual sculptures and across the ensemble. Stainless steel rods refract the light. The studio description calls the sculptures twenty-five feet tall, while its information panel gives twenty-eight feet for each.
