Documented artwork / monumental narrative sculpture
Cloud Puncher
Credit as documented: Brad Oldham and Christy Coltrin
Brad Oldham and Christy Coltrin's Cloud Puncher connects a bronze cowboy at ground level with a stainless-steel cloud caught on the Lively Hotel in Oklahoma City's OAK development. The artist account links the image to the city's land-run history and to the separate Cloud Trees installation across the park. A seventeen-foot cloud section is physically integrated into the hotel's second-story pool deck. OAK's September 2024 dedication announcement describes the work spanning from Heartwood Park to the hotel and weighing nearly ten thousand pounds.
