An audiovisual production with distinct creative roles

This is Loop credits itself with Toroid’s concept, design and fabrication, while identifying Alan Hayes for programming, Alex Lovegrove for technical work, and Pete Callard and Dan Bibby for audio production. The pavilion is therefore a coordinated light-and-sound experience. A host should establish who supplies and maintains the programmed show as well as the physical structure; current booking dates remain unconfirmed.

A documented gathering pavilion at Canary Wharf

The Winter Lights 2023 guide places Toroid in Union Square and describes twelve mirrored hoops forming a pavilion 4 metres high and 13 metres across. Visitors could pass through or gather beneath it. These are dimensions of that presentation, useful for an initial comparison of circulation and gathering space; they are not a complete site footprint or a technical rider for another edition.
