Documented artwork / outdoor sculpture
Sisyphus
Credit as documented: Will Ryman
Will Ryman's Sisyphus is a large bronze sculpture on a granite base, dated 2017. Art Omi identifies it as a unique work, 16 feet tall, and connects its title with Albert Camus's essay about repeated effort. The artist records an exhibition at Parc de La Villette in Paris in 2018 and a subsequent presentation at Art Omi in Ghent, New York, beginning July 1, 2020. These are documented exhibition references; the reviewed pages do not establish a loan, sale or relocation offer.
