Will Ryman's Shanghai 6 brings enlarged roses into the Parrish Art Museum's south meadow in Water Mill, New York. The museum schedules the installation from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2028, on loan courtesy of Ryman and Hyphen, New York. It traveled from the Yuz Museum presentation in China. The roses and oversized fallen petals create a deliberately improbable landscape that relates to Ryman's background in theater and set construction.
