Documented artwork / digital mural on glass, triptych
La Memoria de la Tierra: UCLA
Credit as documented: Judith F. Baca with SPARC's Digital Mural Lab
Judith Baca's glass triptych traces UCLA's relationship with the land at Westwood. Its first panel recalls the area's Indigenous people, river, plants and animals; subsequent panels connect figures in the university's history with its future. The 2022 mural occupies the north-facing exterior of Ackerman Union at the Wescom Student Terrace. ASUCLA identifies the project as a partnership among the UCLA Centennial Committee, ASUCLA and SPARC's Digital Mural Lab, supported financially by Wescom Credit Union.

Materials and construction
A digitally composed image was translated into mineral-colored glass. The artist gives an overall size of ten by eighty feet and also describes three panels twenty-six feet long. Those differently scoped figures are retained without inventing a spacing or framing calculation.
