Documented artwork / illuminated plaza sculpture
Harvest
Credit as documented: Ed Carpenter
Harvest combines 420 laminated-glass panels with polished stainless steel on Lincoln's Pinnacle Bank Arena plaza. Ed Carpenter's 2016 sculpture rises forty-five feet, with eighty cables linking its upper and lower forms. Sunlight casts changing patterns onto the plaza; two programmed lighting rings animate the base after dark. Its forms may suggest wheat, a fountain or historic train-canopy supports.
