Halocline Sky turns the pedestrian connection between Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott Tampa Water Street into an interactive light installation. Digital rings extend along the bridge and respond to movement inside it and on the street below. Water Street Tampa identifies passing cars, bicycles and pedestrians as inputs to the display. The work connects the district's architecture to the activity of its visitors, with the local port and ecosystem providing its thematic setting.
