Feather Point

Olga Ziemska

Credit as documented: Olga Ziemska

Feather Point draws a tree-derived surface into a feather form at Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park in Dublin, Ohio. Dublin Arts Council connects its imagery with Poland's coat of arms and the local memory of Bill Moose. The sculpture was commissioned in 2016 after three finalists were selected from more than one hundred applicants. Ziemska's proposal received unanimous support from an eight-member community jury and strong public preference. The completed work was dedicated on September 19, 2017.
