What the project record tells us

University student center · Texas A&M

Memory Cloud: campus traditions translated into light

RE:site and Metalab’s design documentation describes Memory Cloud for Texas A&M’s Memorial Student Center as a suspended matrix of networked LEDs. The concept combines silhouettes from archival campus footage with a live feed of student movement. It provides a specific precedent for art that connects an institution’s history with everyday activity.
