Dandelion: botanical scale and changing effects
Cusolito traces Dandelion to the 2010 Infinitarium garden at Burning Man and records later exhibitions at San Francisco’s U.N. Plaza and Oakland’s Uptown Art Park. The mild and salvaged steel sculpture is listed at 24 feet tall with a 32-by-32-foot footprint. Originally designed with flame effects, the documented work also uses LEDs in its flower heads and leaves.
