Documented selection route

Artists may submit to GSA's National Artist Registry or respond to individual SAM.gov notices. Panels nominate candidates and GSA evaluates them; eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Program history & cadence

Project-based commissions tied to GSA new construction/modernization, typically spanning three to five years. Registry participation covers consideration for new commissions over ten years and requires resubmission at least every ten years.

A documented program is not a current invitation to apply. Selection routes and program history reflect the linked dated sources. Confirm current availability, eligibility and application terms with the organizer.
