Project-specific panels of community members and creative/cultural stakeholders select artists. STart facilitates and supplies information but does not vote; artist calls are announced periodically and through its opportunities mailing list.

Capital-project-linked permanent and temporary commissions. The source specifies 1% of construction budgets identified in voter-approved initiatives, excluding tunneling. It expressly states there are no open artist calls; no next opening or available project budget is verified.
