After funding is established, a site selection team including facility staff, community, architect, sponsoring agency and Public Art Commission representatives reviews an open call for artistic quality and project/community fit, then makes recommendations to the commission.
Program history & cadence
Percent-for-art funding is tied to qualifying capital projects; no fixed yearly call is promised. The visible Diamond District RFQ remains dated May 8, 2026 and is not promoted as currently open.
