Documented selection route

CaFÉ applications, up to three completed sculptures; concepts excluded and applicants must be 18+. A committee/city-staff jury selects works. The 2027 terms offer $2,500 per one-year lease, charge $10 for the first application and $0 for second/third, and require artist-paid delivery and return. Entries are due December 11, 2026; no deadline clock or timezone is supplied.

Program history & cadence

A documented tradition since 2004. The 2027 schedule conflicts: June 1, 2027 opening, May 1, 2027 closing, but May 1, 2028 reclamation. The one-year lease does not authorize silently correcting the close date; issuer clarification remains needed.
