The artist consultant route begins during design
The city’s 2026 consultant announcement describes a roughly two-year resource list for artists working with architects, engineers, community members and project managers during capital-project design. It advertised $55 per hour for design services and the possibility of a later artwork commission. Applicants were required to be within 250 miles of Fort Collins. The May 20 application date is historical; inclusion on a roster should not be treated as a guaranteed commission or a presently open application.
