A design commission can use a separate fabrication team
The historical Public Works Campus Site Structures call asked artists to supply two-dimensional designs for laser-cut Corten cladding on a bike shelter and two enclosures. The artist provided digital files; the design-build team and contractor managed materials, fabrication and installation. That call was limited to three central Oregon counties and had a January 23, 2025 deadline. It offers a clear example of design-only scope, rather than a standing invitation for finished sculpture.
