Program context & project planning
SculptureTour Salina describes a juried May-to-April display, a $1,500 honorarium and overnight accommodation. Optional sales carry a 25-percent commission; the People's Choice route may lead to a city purchase of up to $20,000. The posted 2026 call deadline is historical.

What would the artist net after transport, commission and a possible sale?
The artist guidance assigns round-trip shipping to participating artists and requests installation instructions or artist assistance. Organizers provide technical installation support. A prospective loan should therefore establish lifting, anchoring and removal responsibilities before assuming the honorarium covers delivery.

Which crew and equipment will be available at arrival and removal?
The program's People's Choice history identifies Phoenix by Jodie Bliss with Oxbow Park and Butterfly Tree by Reven Marie Swanson with the library courtyard. The 2024 winner, Sondra Jonson's Going Home, is described at the Smoky Hill Museum pending a final site. Award status and final placement are separate facts.
