Which installation tasks will the town perform?
Basalt's commission page describes two-year sculpture consignments with loan agreements and possible sales. Its November 2025–November 2027 Midland display includes Alicia Jones's Exquisite Trio and Josh Bales's Iron Roots. This is a documented exhibition-and-sale model, separate from the Willits commission.

What loan, sale and removal terms would apply to a future consignment?
The town's approved 2024 arts master plan identifies locations and funding approaches for temporary, rotating, seasonal and permanent work. The commission also requires consigned sculpture to tolerate weather and suit all ages. A placement proposal should establish its intended duration before choosing materials and installation details.
