Creative Capital Award — 2027 cycle

The opportunity

New sculpture, installation, public art and other artistic projects; excludes existing-work curation and business operations. Projects cannot premiere before July 1, 2027.

Who can apply

Artists age 25+ with five years of professional practice; U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Tribal ID or O-1 visa. No degree enrollment, prior Creative Capital Award or simultaneous Arts Writers application; one project per artist.

Artist project grant; total project expenses may exceed the award.
