Miguel Guzman

Miguel Guzman is an installation artist documented by Burning Man in repeated collaborations with Iyvone Khoo. Their Rain God, Chaac combines Mayan-inspired imagery with animal figures and mycelium components, while A Moment in an Aeon takes the form of a lotus-shaped portal. The 2025 archive describes Ghost Whale Shrine as a suspended whale-marionette environment using mycelium and recycled plastic. Ancestors of Dawn explores shelter, regeneration and relationships between species; the official Honoraria announcement credits Dust Spores Studio alongside Guzman and Khoo. UC San Diego’s Latz Laboratory also records Guzman assisting Khoo’s 2015 bioluminescence research. These sources support an individual artist profile with explicit shared authorship. They do not establish an independently operated studio, a current base, or the present availability of the documented installations.
