XOXO: monumental language in a museum-led urban exhibition
The Smithsonian American Art Museum documents Kimpton's XOXO in the Golden Triangle neighborhood during its 2018 No Spectators exhibition. The museum connects her monumental word sculptures with laser-cut bird motifs, explaining the birds as symbols of release from the weight of words and thoughts. This provides an institutional context for considering text sculpture as both a public landmark and a personal form of communication. The exhibition record is historical and does not confirm XOXO's present location or availability.

LOVE at Renown: a documented healthcare placement
Renown Health's April 2020 announcement records a temporary placement of LOVE, designed by Laura Kimpton and fabricated in collaboration with Jeff Schomberg after its 2019 Burning Man debut. The hospital describes welded aluminum letters, weighted steel base plates and internal color-changing LEDs, with a footprint of 40 by 4 feet. Artown and the Renown Health Foundation helped bring the work to the entrance. This is a specific example of a festival work gaining a new institutional setting, not a current offer.
