Jessica Levine
Jessica Levine builds large figurative and botanical sculptures from individually cut, bent and welded steel. The Midtown Association identifies her as the owner of Bear Metal Welding in South Lake Tahoe and documents Internal Exposure in Sacramento. Made for Burning Man in 2019, that work combines a human head with movable flower-like petals and optical elements in the eyes; Levine’s portfolio credits engineering to RBHU. Strong Magic, dated 2022, takes the form of a lioness-human figure with interactive flame effects, and the artist describes an alternative lighting-only presentation. Her 2025 Life Labyrinth uses small steel-rod pieces to build a human form illuminated by changing light. These examples document sculptural and fabrication experience.
