RadiaLumia: movement at architectural scale
RadiaLumia’s 2018 Burning Man presentation used a five-story geodesic sphere with 42 moving origami shells. The collective identifies corrugated polypropylene and more than 100,000 LEDs. Its development record includes paper models and a full-size shell prototype, showing that the movement system was developed through physical testing.
